Finance Ministry approved Rs.5000-8000(Rs.4200 Grade Pay) for Master Craftsman
Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) issued amendment to G.S.R.552(E) to Central Civil Services(Revised Pay)Rules, 2008 for the workshop staff (Defence Civilian Employees) as follows and issued Notification through Gazette of India on 28.7.2009 published by the controller of publications, New Delhi-110 054.
Ordnance Employees (14% of MCM) will get Rs.4200 Grade Pay and 50% Highly Skilled emplyees will get Rs.2800 Grade Pay

THIS IS A MUCH AWAITED NEWS BY US. BUT WHEN THE O.M. WILL BE ISSUED AND CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME THAT WHETHER THERE WILL BE ANY ELIGIBILITY FOR HS-I FROM HS-II (i.e. AFTER HOW MANY YEARS IN HS-II A PERSON WILL BECOME HS-I)

After this will there will there be a change in pay scale of Chargeman & above as they already have grade pay as 4200 now feeder group i.e. MCM will also have same. When this will happen ?

A MCM WILL BE WORKING ALONG WITH A CHARGEMAN WITH LEAST RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL BE PAID MORE . THANKS TO THE THE SO CALLED INTELECTUALS AND ARCHITECTS OF SIXTH PAY COMISSION.

Yes, the anomaly in pay between PB-4 and others are very much. This is because of two reasons. One the 15 man committee to study the PC report arbitrarily increased the grade pay From Sr. Scale officer grade onwards by Rs.1000/- while we in the PB-3 or PB-2 were given nothing. Second, the PC justly recommended PB-4 only for SAG officers and above. It is clearly worded in the report that this band is for SAG. But the wise men in the committee cleverly hijacked this PB-4 for Selection Grade officers that a rank below SAG without any resistance from any quarters. The Dy.CMEs from JAG get PB-4 ie., Selection grade in 5 years without any change in work or seat or post or responsibility apart from the increase in grade pay. But these people give us only 200 ie. 4600 to 4800 or 400 ie. 4200 to 4600 increase in GP to our grade. What a pity when it is for their pay there is no financial liability and if it comes to our pay there is financial liabilities. These bureaucrats take everything for themselves against the recommendation of the PC whether it be increase in GP or if it is change in Pay Band. The hijacking of PB-4 from SAG to Selection grade in violation of the PC recommendation is the root cause of this great disparity ie. increase in percentage of pay. A Group-A officer joins in the pay of Rs.21000 and get assured time bound promotion. Apart from this within 15 years he is put in PB-4 which gives a direct jump in the pay of around Rs.12000/- from JAG to Selection grade without any change in work. If the PC report would have been followed, this jump would have been from Selection grade to SAG. This would have minimized the jump in pay, as it would have taken 5 more years and an officer would have neared the initial PB-4 pay. This has to be well highlighted by the Trade unions in the anomalies. PB-4 was recommended only for S-28 14300-22400 ie. isolated post of erstwhile Professors and onward. The bureaucrats hijacked it for S-24 onwards. This is terrible injustice against the recommendation of the PC report.

AIDEF has not done any thing, they have spoiled the future of many. Why defence people were not getting pay at pat with railways?Who are in national JCM? Their counter parts in national JCM had betrayed us. AIDEF has not done any thing.
