AIRF demands 80 days bonus for Railway Employees...

AIRF Secretary Shri.Shiv Gopal Mishra has written a letter to Railway Board demanding 80 days Productivity Linked Bonus to the Railwaymen for 2011-12.

We have reproduced content of the letter and given here for your information...

Productivity Linked Bonus to the Railwaymen for 2011-12

You are aware that despite more than two lakh vacancies, the Railwaymen with their hard work have increased productivity of the Indian Railways, and in spite of all odds have earned more than last year. The NRKM has also increased and more freight has been carried by the Indian Railways.

As per formula for Productivity Lined Bonus, according to our calculation, it should not be less than equivalent to 80 days. It has come to our notice that the Railway Board have recommended only for 78 days PLB, which is shocking for all of us because, without consulting us, Railway Board cannot revise the formula, which is a Tripartite Agreement.

We would like to have all data, based on which Railway Board have drawn for 78 days PLB. We would also like to have a discussion on this subject at the earliest.
