Sub :- Appointment on compassionate grounds - delegation of power.

         References are being received seeking clarification whether General Manager can consider candidates for appointment in compassionate ground to the post of Staff Nurse with Grade Pay of Rs 4600/., in light of the stipulation made vide para 2 of this Ministry’s letter dated 31.05.2011 (RBE No. 77/2011). It Is clarified that power delegated vide para 2 of Board’s letter ibid is applicable in all cases of compassionate ground appointments where Grade Pay is Rs.4600/- and below and that includes the category of Staff Nurse.

Further, First class in Engineering has to be ascertained only where requisite qualification for a post is Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Revised Pay Scale from 1.7.2017 for Karnataka Govt Employees Check Your Revised Pension / Family Pension as on 1.7.2017 REVISED SCALES OF PAY:  The existing scales of pay are revised as specified below:-  DATE OF EFFECT: The revised scales of pay shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2017. The monetary benefit of the revised scales of pay shall be admissible from 1st April 2018.
