Dear Sir,

Sub: Filling up of posts of Junior Engineer, G.P. 4200 against 25% Promotionl Quota — Calling of candidates in 3x formuIa for holding selection, regarding.

I am directed to refer to your letter No.22/2012 (DC) dated 18.09.2012 on the above subject and to state that Tech-I are being allowed to be included in the zone of Consideration for the post of Junior Engineer by examining Railway’s proposals on case to case basis. Recently, Board have allowed this dispensation to NWR, SR, and SCR, for example. However, allowing Tech-I for the post of JE as a matter of policy is not feasible of acceptance.

It is hoped that the Federation will appreciate the position.

Yours Sincerely,
sd/-
for Secretary/Railway Board
